Histoire du domaine
The Tardy family originates from Flagey-Échezeaux. In the 1920s, Victor Tardy began working for the Domaine Camuzet. In 1945, Étienne Camuzet entrusted him with vines under a sharecropping arrangement (métayage); Victor was thus among the estate's first sharecroppers, alongside Henri Jayer in particular. His son Jean took over responsibility for the vines in 1966 and subsequently farmed several parcels associated with Méo-Camuzet, including Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Aux Boudots, Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Chaumes, and Clos de Vougeot in Les Grands Maupertuis. Starting in 1981, Jean Tardy simultaneously developed his own estate through the acquisition of plots. Guillaume Tardy joined his father in 1997, pursued his viticultural and oenological training, and then gained experience in Australia before returning to the estate in 2000. He vinified his first vintage in 2001 and officially took over management of the operation in 2003. The parcels farmed under sharecropping for Méo-Camuzet were returned after the 2007 vintage, leading to a restructuring of the family vineyard. Guillaume Tardy remains the manager of the company and is responsible for vinification.
Aux Boudots
Aux Boudots is an officially recognized climat of the AOC Nuits-Saint-Georges, authorized to use the "premier cru" designation. It occupies the northernmost part of the communal vineyard, bordering Vosne-Romanée, below Les Damodes and in the immediate vicinity of Aux Malconsorts. A professional sheet specifically describes its surface as very stony. The general geological context of the Nuits hillside combines Jurassic limestones, marls, and clayey scree deposits, but these characteristics are not individualized for the entire climat by the official source consulted.

Histoire de la parcelle
The AOC Nuits-Saint-Georges was recognized on September 11, 1936. A list of climats authorized to benefit from the "premier cru" designation was recognized in 1943, based notably on the crus distinguished in the 19th century; Aux Boudots appears in the current regulatory list of these climats.
