Champagne Pierre Moncuit - Nicole Moncuit - Vieilles Vignes - Brut - Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs 2004 Bouteille (75cl)
Champagne Pierre Moncuit Nicole Moncuit Vieilles Vignes 2004 is a Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru from Champagne, crafted by Pierre Moncuit. Made exclusively from Chardonnay, it comes from old vines in the Grand Cru of Mesnil-sur-Oger, on the Côte des Blancs. The Nicole cuvée, a selection of the maison's old vines, is produced only in vintages deemed exceptional. This vintage champagne thus combines the chalky and racy identity of Mesnil-sur-Oger with the concentration brought by the age of the vines.

Histoire du domaine
The family history began in 1889 when Alex Moncuit acquired a few acres of vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. In 1928, his son Pierre chose to vinify and market his own wines under his name, assisted by his wife Odile Moncuit-Delos. Their daughter Nicole joined the estate in 1977 and dedicated herself to viticulture and vinification, while her brother Yves took charge of marketing starting in 1980. In 1982, Pierre's health issues led Nicole to fully take over technical management; her first vintage won a gold medal at an international competition. Valérie Charpentier, Nicole's daughter, joined the estate in 2007, working alongside her mother on the vines and wines, and with Yves on marketing. That same year, the estate equipped itself with a new vat room allowing the different plots to be kept separate until bottling. Valérie Charpentier is now at the head of this family house, while Nicole Moncuit remains involved in the signature and crafting of the wines.
