Histoire du domaine
The Capbreton vineyard is documented as an ancient wine-growing terroir, with a history dating back more than six centuries according to the Domaine de la Pointe. Following a long period of decline in local viticulture, Nicolas Tison replanted local grape varieties in Capbreton in the 1990s. The estate, as it stood at that time, comprised 5 hectares of vines. In 2018, SARL Domaine de la Pointe was established and acquired the business previously operated by SCEA Les Vignes de Capbreton. At the same time, the municipality of Capbreton entered into a rural lease with this company for the operation of part of the vineyard site. Industry sources indicate that Cyril and Julie Laudet took over the estate alongside Dominique Faget and Julien Blanc. Cyril Laudet is now the sole director listed in the Companies Register following the amendment published on 27 January 2026. The estate currently cultivates 5 hectares of vineyards in Capbreton.
