Volcán de mi Tierra is a tequila house founded in Jalisco by Moët Hennessy and the Gallardo family. Crafted in a distillery located at the foot of the Tequila volcano, its cuvées are based on Weber blue agave and on the blending expertise of ingredients sourced notably from the terroirs of Los Valles and Los Altos. Marcelino Lucke currently oversees production as maestro tequilero.

Histoire du domaine
The Mexican roots claimed by Volcán de mi Tierra are tied to the Gallardo family, established in 1774 at Hacienda La Gavilana in Jalisco. The house was born from a partnership between this family and Moët Hennessy, the wine and spirits group of LVMH, following several years of research and trials dedicated to agave origins, yeasts, distillation, and aging. The project culminated in May 2017 with the launch of Volcán de mi Tierra, initially primarily in Mexico and the United States. Its name refers to the Tequila volcano, whose ancient eruptions shaped the region's volcanic soils. Production takes place in a distillery in El Arenal, at the foot of the volcano; Marcelino Lucke is today the maestro tequilero and oversees the crafting of the tequilas. Santiago Cortina Gallardo now represents the family continuity as co-founder and managing director of the house.
X.A
Volcán X.A is a tequila crafted by blending Reposado, Añejo, and Extra-Añejo tequilas made from 100% Weber blue agave. Presented without additives, it stands out from traditional age categories by bringing together three levels of maturation in a single expression.

Volcán de mi Tierra announced the launch of X.A in July 2022 as an innovative new expression in its range. This creation combines Reposado, Añejo, and Extra-Añejo tequilas to unite smoothness, aromatic elegance, and complexity.
