Histoire du domaine
Château Larmande is one of the oldest wine-producing estates in Saint-Émilion: local archives mention its existence as early as 1585. The estate states that the Jurats of Saint-Émilion held their meetings there at that time. At the start of the 20th century, the estate was given to Alice Capdemourlin and Fernand Meneret as a wedding gift. Three generations of the Meneret family subsequently succeeded one another at Larmande. At the end of 1990, Jean Meneret sold the estate to the insurance company La Mondiale, which has since become AG2R La Mondiale. The vineyard is now owned by La Mondiale Grands Crus, a subsidiary of the AG2R La Mondiale group. In 2018, the estate was awarded Level 3 High Environmental Value certification and began using terracotta amphorae for part of the ageing process. Véronique Corporandy is the technical director of the winery; since May 2026, she has been working alongside Frédéric Chabaneau, technical director of the La Mondiale Grands Crus estates.
